Today I just wanted to send a word of encouragement and to everyone who reads this and tell you that you are NOT who this world says you are.....you ARE who God says you are! If you are unsure what what that means about you, then seek Him...ask Him...allow Him to show you exactly who He created you to be. You are not a person who should be living in fear, you are not a person who should be ruled by sin, you are not a person who should be tossed about by life like the waves in the sea. You have the ability to do all things through Christ who SHOULD BE your strength. You do NOT need to walk in doubt or confusion. You do NOT need to wonder and worry about your future. When you surrender all to God and give Him power over your life, He will set your feet on His path and secure you firmly. He will give you a renewed confidence....not in yourself, but in the One who has you!
Today let Christ's perfect life, undeserved death, and resurrection mean something in your life! Praise Him and give Him glory for all you have! Trust Him for all you need! Believe in Him with all your heart! And serve Him with all your guts! Let the world see that circumstances will not defeat you, trouble will not defeat you, heartache will not defeat you....not because of who you are, but because of whose you are! Walk in a new found worth because you realize and receive that Christ did what He did for you. He loved you in your sin, He wants to help you defeat anything that has you burdened and oppressed, and He wants to deliver you and set you free...AND He wants to use you in ways you can't even begin to imagine. He has work to be done to advance His kingdom that He had you in mind to do when He created you. Give Him the opportunity to show you just how amazing He designed you to be when brought you into this world...and let nothing stop you from discovering and living in the truth of God's grace, mercy, forgiveness, love and power.
God, thank You that YOU say who we are...not the enemy, not the world, not our mistakes, not our past, not our sins...BUT YOU! Help us to believe this today. Holy Spirit help us see ourselves through the eyes of Christ and find our worth in Him! And help us to help others to see You, hear Your truth and get set free from everything this world has put on them. In Jesus name, Amen
