When we see a friend or loved one turn their life around let's be an instant support to that person. Let's not be the one who stands to the side and starts counting how long it will be before they mess up again. People need love and support, not just in the hard times, but as an everyday part of their life. People don't typically wake up one day and just mess up. If you are a loving, supportive part of someone's life, you may be part of the reason they never get into the mess of their past again. I thank God for loving friends and family who never gave up on me. And there are people in my life I will never give up on either. Strength and support comes in numbers.
