What about you...

So you care about things more than the average person. Or maybe you don't care about anything? You are so loving that it stands out, or you don't ever show love to anyone. You are one of the most giving people that your friends know, or your so selfish that your known for never giving a thing.....

Everyone is known for something. Everyone! What are you known for? Someday the very thing that makes you stand out from everyone else may be the very thing that you didn't even think anyone ever noticed about you. That can work for your good....or your bad. Do I want to be remembered (or currently known) by the bad things that made me stand out, or the good things? Because you were so negative, or so positive? No matter what is in your past that haunts you...and we all seem to have something...it is never to late to say "that" is not what I want to be known for or remembered by. One of the greatest things about coming to know Jesus Christ and accepting him into your life as your savior, is knowing that he no longer remembers you for what you "did". He is all about 2nd chances and loves to watch us change our ways, clean up our life, live under His name and represent Him well.

All of us, like it or not, are you going to be remembered for something. But what we are remembered for is a choice. If I threw 2 names our there to almost anyone...One being Jesus, and one being Hitler, almost everyone would remember what they are known for. They are both very well known names, but it's not so much about BEING well known as it is WHAT you are well known for. So as you walk through life, as you do what you do, remember that people are watching you. Do you want to spread blessings to others and be known for that....or do you want to be remembered by those bad things that may have made you stand out over the years.

It is all about legacy. So what legacy do you do you want to leave behind? I don't want to be a person who just fit into this world....but I do want to be a person that stood out for the good that I have done. People can try hard not to fit into the world through negative and positive ways. We see that in the news every day of our lives. Let's try hard to find good ways to be remembered every day we are blessed to spend on this earth. Spread good....in Jesus' name.....so others will want what you have.
